Pinedale, Wyoming is set in a high mountain valley setting at 7,200 feet. Elevation with rivers, more than 1,300 lakes, wildlife and breath taking picturesque towering mountain ranges. We're close enough for you to head into the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area to enjoy over 200,000 acres of picturesque natural scenery around the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, which has come to be known as a "fishing hot spot" around the country and it is within a couple of hours drive from our hotel in Pinedale. A few short hours north you'll experience the rockin town of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park! A few minutes away is the "must see" Museum of The Mountain Man or drop a line in Fremont Lake (the 7th deepest lake in the country). Visit Kendall Warm Springs (average constant temperature of 84 degrees) just north of Pinedale and see fish that are found nowhere else in the world. Visit the high desert just south of Pinedale and see one of the largest wild horse herds on the continent, visit Wyoming's highest mountain, Gannett Peak (13,804 feet) along with 6 of the largest 7 glaciers in the contiguous states located in the Wind River Range. The Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail passes right through Pinedale. National publications proclaim that snowmobiling around Pinedale is some of the best in the country.
