This charming hotel created by an ancient fortress, is located in the most panoramic and quiet in the Conero Riviera, in a magnificient position among the green woods and the blue sea. It lies a few meters from the white pebble beach of Portonovo. Together with the two rocks of incomparable beauty and the famous Romanesque church of St. Mary (1034 AD), is one of the artistic treasures of the bay. The rooms and suites are all arranged around the perimeter of the structure. None of the rooms have a sea view, since each has a window that opens onto the courtyard. The rooms are located in the antique cells of the soldiers in charge of the garrison, but unlike then, today are much more comfortable. The whole bay of Portonovo extends from 10 to 20 meters from the seashore. The menu is served on the terrace overlooking the sea in the warm period and in the rooms during the rest of the year.
